Falling in Love with Fall

Did I mention that I love fall? I love the smells! I love pumpkin flavored deserts and pumpkin spice fraps from Starbucks! I love the change in weather and wearing a jacket! And....I love Old Fashioned Sunday at church! By the way, you have to check out the beautiful Praline Pumpkin Cake made by Starr at http://cookingwiththepreacherswife.blogspot.com/. The recipe is included. Doesn't it look delicious?
Well, here are my fall bulletin boards:

This is my favorite board because it is the witnessing scarecrow.

Do you see the tract in his hand?

We love thanking God for His blessings!

This is my second favorite and takes the longest to do because of all the leaves,
which I got at Walmart a couple of years ago in the floral section.

My students are great blessings and love to be helpers.

Our back door- where we head out into the cool fall weather for recess.

You have such a way with words. You are such a true friend and a sister I've always wanted. Through the years, you've been there through the blessings, trials, and the heartaches. Is Heaven Your Home?

There are five things you must know and one thing you must do!

You must know:
1. The Bible is the Word of God- II Tim. 3:16 "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" God told men what to write, and they wrote His Words.

2. Jesus is the God of the Bible- John 1:1 " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

3. We are all sinners- Rom. 3:10 "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one." Rom. 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; We are all in the same boat; we have all done wrong.

4. Because of our sin, we deserve to go to Hell- Rom. 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Rom 5:12 "Wherefore as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." Death in the Bible is spiritual death that separates us eternally from God in a place called Hell.

One Thing You Must Do:
Rom 10:9-10 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Rom 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

If you have believed what you have read, that the Bible is God's Word, that Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sin, that He rose from the dead 3 days later proving that He is God, you can call on Him right now in prayer and tell Him what you believe, ask Him for forgiveness of your sin, and accept Him in your life as your Lord and Savior.
